"Too much crime, too little time." — Nicole Wallace.
What's a sociopath to do? Let's face it. Trump is a very busy man. Between dying his hair, squeezing into his man girdle, and applying his fake tan, he's barely able to keep up with his Truth Social posts. Add to that the grueling schedule he must maintain to manage his multiple speaking engagements, where he works tirelessly to ensure his followers are kept from learning the truth of who he is. That's a lot to juggle.
He barely has time to review the television coverage of himself. And if the coverage looks bad, well, there's a whole other process he has to find time for. It's a full-time job to research everybody who finds fault with him so he can systematically discredit or threaten them all.
With several cases piling up, Trump must also find time for another of his hobbies — producing propaganda videos that make him appear stronger and infinitely more capable than he is.
Perhaps that's why he resorted to recycling an old video recently. It's the one he created to scare Iran by saying (audio accompanied by a menacing close-up of his face — well, mostly his eyes — he cleverly excludes his double-chin and neck cleavage), "If you do something bad to us, we're going to do to you things that have never been done before."
Now it appears that the DOJ expects Trump to show up in court to defend himself, so I'm guessing that's the "bad" thing that motivated him to repost the video.
You can hardly blame him. It's infuriating. How can he be expected to defend himself effectively when there are so many cases against him? Just look at the calendar, and you'll see what I mean. (And this doesn't even include whatever time will be needed to fight the charges we expect to be brought in the Jan 6 case and the Georgia case.

As you can see, there is barely enough time to do all the political posturing, lying, manipulating, and threatening necessary to give Trump a fighting chance at the 2024 presidency if he's required to go to court to defend himself against the accusations related to his numerous crimes.
It's pretty clear to any thinking person that there is only one answer to this overwhelming scheduling problem: throw democracy out the window and forget about holding the twice-impeached, twice-indicted, disgraced ex-president accountable.
Heck, Republicans are already talking about expunging his two impeachments, so let's get rid of those too, and we won't even have a twice-impeached ex-president anymore. He'll be pure as the driven snow.
Wouldn't that be easier than dealing with all this legal trouble?
